The Cuvée Gauvain is one of the prestigious Premier Cru vineyards of the Hospices de Beaune. It is namedafter Bernard Gauvain, one of the institution’s most generous benefactors, who bequeathed his entire fortune to the Hospice de la Charité.

Appellation: Volnay 1er Cru Santenots.

Location: The vineyards are situated in the ‘Les Plures’ (0.72 ha) and ‘Santenots du Milieu’ (0.68 ha) plots and face east/south-east .
