The much more open, chocolaty, full-bodied Pichon Comtesse was much more impressive, not only in direct comparison. Simply the more accessible, more hedonistic wine at the moment. Drunk several dozen times, quite consistently, most recently in 2007 with 95/100 (source: wineterminator.com Dr Becker).
