One of the highlights of a great Hermitage-la-Chapelle tasting in 1995 was a 45 in a Danish bottling, brilliant nose, mocha, coffee, like the great 45 Bordeaux, fine sweetness, acidity, strong on the palate, malty 96/100. A very dense, strong colour, which made it appear much younger, had a Côte Rotie Vidal-Fleurie in 2005. Intense caramel nose, also on the palate fine sweetness and great length, perfectly matured Rhone wine, which did very respectably as a pirate in the 70s California flight as a kind of older brother - 95/100 (source: wineterminator.com Dr. Becker):
