I can only strongly advise against La Mission Haut Brion. Something must have gone wrong in the cellar back then, because all six bottles I have drunk so far from different sources had a more or less strong vinegar flavour. The most beautiful bottle was a 1998 magnum at Willi Krähling's La Mission tasting, relatively light in colour, appears light, elegant, fine, compact with strong acidity, somewhat drying, becomes even more acidic with time in the glass and gets that vinegar tinge again - 86/100 (source: wineterminator.com Dr. Becker).
