Brora Whisky – A legendary single malt

For almost four decades, Brora was a ghost – a lost soul, whose surviving vintages became sacred relics for collectors. The whisky from those silent years achieved cult status; its bottles became myths, precious treasures of wax and fleeting aromas that told of a bygone era.

Yet legends never die – they merely slumber. In 2021, following a careful and humble restoration that preserved every aspect of the old craftsmanship and revived the traditional wooden vats and the slow fermentation, Brora was reborn. The embers in the stills are flickering once more, and the damp, salty breeze from the North Sea mingles once again with the sweet, malty scent that wafts through the storerooms.

The new Brora is more than a revival – it is a profound tribute to the past. Its amber-coloured gold reflects the barren hills, the tempestuous weather and the untamed spirit of the North. Every drop carries the memory of the silence and the jubilation of its return, the taste of resilience and pure, unadulterated craftsmanship.
