Greiner also opened an amber-colored 1945 Assmannshauser Höllenberg Pinot Noir, which, with its freshness and elegance, its aromas of cedar wood, tobacco, cassis, raspberry, violet and smoked bacon, is unequal to the five vintages 2006, 1995, 1986, 1976 and 1966 for the world rarity dinner in the Hattenheimer Kronenschlösschen The more expensive cult winery “Château Mouton Rothschild” even stole the show. On this Saturday, the state wineries are auctioning a bottle of this outstanding Pinot Noir for a good cause. Greiner hopes for proceeds that will be somewhere between 3,000 and 8,000 euros.
